About us

Built by someone who has worked under real scrutiny.

Intelligence systems are coming to every business. The ones worth trusting will be built by people who have lived under examination — and designed for it from the first line.

ARMORY INTEL is Nate Cochran's company.

Nate holds a B.S. in Management Information Systems from Rowan University and spent years inside a regional bank — from the teller line and IT help desk to Bank Secrecy Act compliance to business systems analyst for the platform the bank's commercial lending ran on. Configuring the screens loan officers worked in, debugging the API connections between systems, managing the projects that changed them. Work where the audit trail is the deliverable, where every action has to be traceable, and where "trust me" is not an acceptable answer to an examiner.

That background is why the company builds the way it does. Intelligence systems are coming to every business. The ones worth trusting will be the ones built by people who have lived under real scrutiny — and designed for it from the first line.

We don't describe the offer. We run on it.

Before selling anything, we built what we now offer: the company's own business memory — the organized record of everything it knows — and the operating system that runs on it. Permission levels for what can act on its own. A receipt for every action. Hard limits it won't cross. Rules that can't change quietly.

Then we ran the company on it. Strategy, research, brand, this website. The system has been live since April 2026, keeps its own records, and produced much of what you're reading under the same discipline we sell.

So the offer isn't a theory. We don't describe it. We run on it. Every engagement gets the system we trusted with our own company first.

Substance over style. Everything intentional by design.

A clever deliverable that's wrong is worse than a plain one that's right.

We lead with the answer.

No preamble. The first line is the point.

Every claim traces to a source.

When we don't know a number, we say so rather than invent one.

The deliverable is the argument.

We don't talk about competitors. We move deliberately and leave a record.

We're named for the armory — the place where instruments are forged, kept, and accounted for. We hold that the work of building tools is stewardship: a thing made well, bounded clearly, and accounted for completely, because someone is responsible for it. That conviction is older than the company, and it shapes everything in it — including the parts you can audit.

Intelligence, engineered for the real world.

You'd be hiring a small company. Here's the honest answer.

Founder-led, one person and the team of assistants he built. It's fair to wonder what that means for you — so here's the honest answer.

You work with the person who built it.

No account manager between you and the work. The person on the discovery call is the person doing the analysis.

Nothing lives in anyone's head.

Everything we do for you is written down as we do it — what was done, when, and what it was based on. Your business memory is yours, in plain files you keep. If we disappeared tomorrow, you'd lose a vendor, not your records.

Small is the design, not the constraint.

The operating system carries the volume — the research, the records, the routine work. The founder carries the judgment. That division is the product, and you'll feel it from the first engagement.

No pressure here — most people read the rest of the site first.

How we help explains the work; the platform shows how it's governed.

When you're ready: the discovery call is 30 minutes, no pitch, and you leave with a plan whether or not we work together.
